FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wet steam turbine has stator casing with means to retain, let out and discharge of moisture. Wheels with blades are provided with moisture collecting grooves made on inner surface of shroud provided with ring projection. Seal, for instance, cellular-type one, is made on projection of shroud. Means to let out moisture from stator casing is made in form of slot with cross partition located between seal and projection of shroud.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of wet steam turbine owing to reduction of aerodynamic losses in interim clearance.
