FIELD: press-fitting for making fixed sealed connections of pipes.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, pipes have smooth ends with at least one sleeve-like portions, with at least one corrugation, provided almost at the end of sleeve-like portion, which receives at least one circular, rubber-elastic packing element. The surface of packing element on at least separate areas is intersected by chute-like channels, which in non-compressed state of packing element are interconnected in labyrinth-like fashion, while packing surfaces interrupted by channels in compressed state are pressed to each other, closing the channels. Variants of realization of press-fitting are described.
EFFECT: increased reliability of device.
