SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fitting for mounting on a threaded connection of a pipe, in particular a water pipe, comprising body (20), threaded portion (22) and seal (24, 50, 56, 62) arranged on threaded portion (22); technical result is solved by the fact that body (20) has crimping surface (26, 66) on the opposite side of threaded portion (22). Invention also relates to a method for mounting fitting on a threaded pipe connection.
EFFECT: simplification and at the same time more reliable mounting on the threaded connection of the pipe.
