FIELD: production of adsorbing articles.
SUBSTANCE: adsorbing article has first substantially liquid permeable surface layer, protective layer, and adsorbing body positioned therebetween. Adsorbing body has substantially cone-shaped cavities which are continued through at least part of adsorbing body. Cavities have end portion and base. End portion is oriented toward liquid permeable surface layer or is located within the latter, and base is oriented away from liquid permeable surface layer. Inner surface of said cavities is treated with at least one functional substance.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved adsorbing capabilities of adsorbing articles.
