FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes glass of the following composition, wt.-%: SiO2, 55.0-60.0; K2O, 3.0-5.0; Na2O, 3.0-5.0; B2O3, 3.0-5.0; ZnO, 3.0-5.0; CdS, 0.4-1.0; Se, 0.3-1.0; CaO, 4.0-6.0; BaO, 4.0-7.0; TiO2, 12.5-17.5, and Sb2O3, 0.1-0.2. The refraction coefficient of glass is (1.7-1.8) ± 0.05. Invention provides enhancing the refraction coefficient of glass. Invention is designated for manufacturing illumination equipments and articles of decorative-artistic designation.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of glass.
