FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: crystal glass can be used for making decorative products. The glass contains the following, in mass%: Al₂O₃ 1.0-2.0; B₂O₃ 1.0-2.0; ZnO 8.0-10.0; CaO 8.0-10.0; MgO 1.0-2.0; Na₂O 1.0-2.0; K₂O 10.0-12.0; CdO 1.0-2.0; S^2- 0.05-0.1; Se 0.1-0.2; SnO₂ 0.05-0.1; TiO₂ 1.0-2.0; Fe₂O₃ 0.1-0.2; CoO 0.2-0.4; Cl^- 0.02-0.04; BaO 5.0-6.0; SrO 5.0-6.0; CeO₂ 0.5-1.0; GeO₂ 3.0-4.0; SiO₂ - the rest. Positive effect: refractive index of the glass ranges from 1.80 to 1.85.

EFFECT: increased refractive index of the glass.
