SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of tiles, blocks, bricks. Method of manufacturing decorative lime-sand articles comprises preparation and dosing of ground burnt lime, quartz sand, water, encapsulated dye, mixing thereof with each other, molding of articles, and autoclave treatment. Capsules made from material degrading during autoclave treatment occupy 0.5 to 5% of the volume of raw components.
EFFECT: increased atmosphere resistance of decorative silicate articles and achieved formation of spotty coloration of articles.
