SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sphere of building materials production, in particular, to production of sand-lime brick. According to the proposed method for producing decorative sand-lime brick, which includes preparation of quartz sand mixture and ground burned lime, its slaking, forming and autoclave processing, the face surface of a brick is formed of slaked lime including ( in mass, %): ground broken silicate glass 90-95; ground burned lime 5-10. The mixture of ground broken silicate glass and ground burned lime comprises 5-10% of the brick mass.
EFFECT: improved frost resistance of brick.
