FIELD: metallurgy, namely thermal processes for removing from surface of metal and alloys scale, rust, anode coatings.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of taking oriented polymer polyethylene terephtalate; disintegrating them for receiving particles with size 1 - 4 mm; heating worked metals with layer removed from it till 400-450°C; gradually pouring polymer particles at first with size 1 - 2 mm, then with size 3 - 4 mm onto heated surface of removed layer for providing layer thickness 10 - 15 mm; fusing particles for providing continuous layer of coating; soaking coating till starting intensive gas separation in boundary removed layer - polymer coating; stopping metal heating; pressing coating on removed layer until complete disappearance of gas bubbles; cooling in air till 20°C; soaking coating on metal surface till occurring arch-effect and mechanically, mainly manually removing it.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of cleaning, enlarged possibilities of using polymer of polyethylene terephtalate as waste materials.
