FIELD: production of titanium base alloys used for making parts and units of aerospace and rocket technique such as bottles, longerons, stringers, ribs, fastening parts and so on.
SUBSTANCE: alloy contains next chemical content, mass %: aluminum, 4.3 - 6.8; vanadium, 4.0 - 5.6; molybdenum, 1.5 - 3.5; chrome, 0.5 - 2.5; zirconium, 0.6 - 1.5; iron, 0.1 -1.0; copper, 0.16 - 0.5; tungsten, 0.001 - 0.2; manganese, 0.001 - 0.2; oxygen, 0.02 - 0.2; carbon, 0.02 - 0.2; hydrogen, 0.003 - 0.03; titanium, the balance. Limit strength of alloy is increased by 15 % at temperature (-196°C), impact viscosity is increased by 40%, cracking resistance - by 50%. Mass of parts and units is lowered by 15%.
EFFECT: lowered mass, enhanced operational reliability of parts and units.
