FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises arranging unmovable vibration sources so that to reduce the amplitude of the excitation receiving by the rotor and verifying the decrease of maximum amplitude of the rotor response to excitation. The verification comprises determining the first signal whose Fourier transformation corresponds to the frequency spectrum of excitation for the case when the unmovable excitation sources are distributed according to the preliminary defined angular distribution, converting the first signal into the second signal adapted to a given distribution of unmovable excitation sources, determining frequency excitation spectrum by calculating Fourier transformation of the second signal, and calculating the response of the rotor to the excitation on the basis of the frequency excitation spectrum.
EFFECT: simplified method.
