FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine comprises, at least, one first vaned wheel or second vaned wheel. Said wheels revolve on rotational axle to allow fluid to flow there through due to aerodynamic disturbances caused by second vaned wheel, or obstacle on first vaned wheel. Proposed method comprises the following stages of designing said two vaned wheels: initial configuration of vanes is defined, synchronous forced reaction on first vaned wheel is calculated depending upon harmonic force of excitation produced by second vaned wheel and expressed in the form of linear function of generalised aerodynamic force for mode under analysis. Tangential geometrical shift of stack 0 axis is defined for stacked cross sections of one of two wheels to reduce component corresponding to generalised aerodynamic force. Thus, combination of cross section with tangential shifts governs new configuration of vanes of one of two wheels.
EFFECT: control over vaned wheel reaction to vibration in designing.
