FIELD: electric engineering, in particular, machine building.
SUBSTANCE: the methods for adjustment of voltages and currents in transformer by shunting of the magnetic flux or by, displacement of the coils along the core that do not provide a high efficiency are widely known. Continuous adjustment of the magnetic flux in transformers with the use of a movable shunt relative to the core is provided by the fact that the magnetic flux is adjusted by redistribution of it by displacement of the armature on three poles of am E-shaped core of the transformer, with the incoming current coil positioned on its middle pole, and outgoing current coil positioned on the other pole when the armature straps the middle pole of the input coil and the pole of the output coil, the latter gets pierced by the maximum magnetic flux, and when the armature straps the middle and shunting (without a coil) poles, only a dispersed magnetic flux acts on the output coil.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the transformers; expanded range of adjustment; reduced non-linearity of the adjustable parameters; eliminated parasitic gaps between the movable components; reduced noise in service; provided automatic control of the transformer.
