FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: animal pen has ends and elongated sides for constant restricting of degree of movement therein of animals, comprising movable endless belt defining surface for standing of animals thereon. Belt is movable from entrance end to exit end where panel of exit end defines gap between belt upper surface and lowermost transverse beam of this panel. Sensitive means at belt exit end is positioned for rotation about shaft which, when driven by animal, interrupts endless movement of belt. Endless belt defines pen floor for livestock and moves from entrance end to exit end where panel of exit end defines gap between upper belt surface and lowermost transverse beam of this panel. Sensitive means at exit end of belt rotating around shaft is driven when animal is in exclusion zone of pen. Signal from sensitive means causes belt stoppage.
EFFECT: simplified construction and removal of manure, and elimination of possibility for damaging of animal's legs.
