FIELD: protected documents, for example valuable papers.
SUBSTANCE: protected document has at least one protecting member. In order to form protecting member, at least one zone of document zone has for different types of protected documents different shape and size. Said zone is shifted in space relative to surrounding or adjacent surfaces of substrate, for example it is raised or descended and(or) it has different roughness degree, rigidity, elasticity, sliding characteristics, heat conductance and(or) stickiness in order to provide sensing of said zone due to its different properties by touching with human hands. At least one region of surface is formed with use of film portion applied onto substrate and having special decoration. Said film is made of material different from substrate material and it has notches that may be sensed by touching through surface of substrate.
EFFECT: improved degree of protecting documents against counterfeit, simplified process for testing document authenticity.
