FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas-turbine engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas-turbine engine contains intake unit, compressor, combustion chamber, fuel feed system, igniter, turbine and exhaust unit. Intake unit is furnished with electrolyzer. Electrodes of electrolyzer provide free passing of air flow and dissociation/decomposition of water naturally present in air into hydrogen and oxygen and water of electrolyte (water solution of electrolyte) introduced additionally into air flow under action of electric current. Electrodes are installed in intake unit.
EFFECT: improved operating efficiency of gas-turbine engine.
