FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: gas turbine engine containing a housing, a compressor, a combustion chamber with the igniter, a turbine, a water feed system with dispersion of water by a cavitation jet. The housing is designed to intake atmospheric air into the engine. The cavitation jet is designed to feed water in the incoming air allowing for moisture content of the latter. The water feed and disperse system incorporates the cavitation jet to feed and disperse air-fuel mix into the combustion chamber. The igniter is made in the form of electric arc electrodes. The said electrodes are arranged at the front right section of the flame tube and, with DC voltage fed to then, ignite the arc and quench it with dissociation, ionisation, ignition and transformation into plasma of the mix vapours passing through the electric arc ignition zone. One of the electrodes if movable and is intended for firing the electric arc, the other one, a taper electrode, is provided with a tapered channel.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency.
