FIELD: small arms.

SUBSTANCE: the small arms has a receiver, breechblock, hammer, trigger. The hammer and the trigger are installed on the breechblock for turning about the axes that are parallel with the axis of turn of the breechblock. The hammer is made in the form of a double-arm lever, the locking section of the hammer lateral surface is made in the lower part of its second arm. The safety section of the hammer lateral surface is made in the form a convex cylindrical surface and positioned between the boss and the locking section of the hammer lateral surface. A bulge with a mating locking section with a concave cylindrical surface with the center of the axis of turn of the breechblock is made in the rear part of the receiver opposite the hammer. The mating locking section is conjugated with the mating safety section located below it with formation of a rib parallel with the axis of turn of the hammer.

EFFECT: enhanced convenience in the process of shooting and enhanced reliability of the breechblock locking at a shot.
