FIELD: synthetic materials for production of glass.
SUBSTANCE: proposed synthetic material is homogeneous mixture of chemically coprecipitated calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and/or magnesium carbonate and/or magnesium silicate and modifying additives at the following ratio of components, mass-%: calcium carbonate in terms of CaO, 30.0-40.0; magnesium hydroxide and/or magnesium carbonate and/or magnesium silicate in terms of MgO, 10.0-20.0; iron in terms of Fe2O3, 0.003-0.10; modifying additives, 0-5.0; water and inert admixtures, 1.0-8.0. Mass ratio of calcium and magnesium oxides CaO:MgO=(1.54.0):1. Proposed synthetic raw material is produced by interaction of aqueous solution of magnesium salt/salts with aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and/or carbonate and/or silicate in presence of aqueous suspension of chemically coprecipitated calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and/or magnesium carbonate and modifying additives at temperature of 20-100C and pressure of 0.05-0.7 atm.
EFFECT: extended raw material sources due to use of large waste of chemical processes; low cost of product.
