FIELD: electric metallurgy, namely, three-phased smelting and ladle electric arc furnaces.
SUBSTANCE: short net consists of bus bridge (power track), connected through compensators to low voltage outputs of furnace transformer, flexible hoses and tube buses in amount for each phase which is divisible by two, and contact heads of electric holders which transmit the current to graphitized electrodes. Current-conductive bridging links, position of which may be adjusted across the length of tube bus, are installed between current-conductive tube buses of each phase. Bridging links are made in form of collapsible clamps, contact of which with tube buses is ensured by bolt connections. To decrease heating of contact connection, links are equipped with water cooling.
EFFECT: decreased asymmetry of electric resistances of short net phases of three-phased electric furnaces, ensuring evening of arc powers and even flow of graphitized electrodes.
