FIELD: foundry, namely production of castings of cast iron alloyed with aluminum.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of adding termite mixture on base of disintegrated aluminum additives with coating layer containing oxides and cryolite to melt poured in casting mold; preliminarily baking iron oxides at providing air access for producing uniform ferric oxide; using aluminum coating containing ferric oxide with mass relation corresponding to stoichiometric composition of its interaction with aluminum, preferably mass relation of ferric oxide and aluminum no less than 0.5.
EFFECT: possibility for more effective alloying of cat iron with aluminum, lowered cost related to necessity of superheating melt in melting aggregates.
