Abstract RU 2306223 C1

FIELD: manufacture of latticed tubes of polymeric thermoplastic material by extrusion of melt through draw plate and drawing extruded fibers.

SUBSTANCE: installation includes extruder with extrusion head, shaping device, gage, cooler, pulling device and shears for cutting off tube. Extruder includes housing with loading hopper and with built-in heater. Shaping device includes rod connected with extrusion head. The last has draw plate for extruding latticed tube. Gage is arranged on rod and it is spaced from end of head. Gage has variable cross section portion widened in direction of tube motion and constant cross section portion corresponding to tube shape. Pulling device has two-four pairs of drive rolls. Cooler includes two vessels arranged concentrically relative to gage. First annular vessel is mounted near draw plate and it has branch pipe for introducing first cooling agent and distributed along part of its surface openings or slits for discharging jets of cooling agent towards tube. Second vessel is arranged concentrically relative to gage portion having constant cross section and it has inlet branch pipe for introducing second cooling agent and outlet openings or slits distributed along wall of vessel turned to tube. Extruded tube is cooled at first by means of air from its melting temperature till softening temperature in portion of forming lattice nodes till end of cone portion of gage. Then tube is cooled by means of water or water-steam mixture till setting temperature in portion of gage with constant cross section.

EFFECT: stable process of tube widening, enhanced efficiency, lowered energy consumption.
