FIELD: combustion.
SUBSTANCE: burner comprises three interconnected chambers, swirler built-in the entrance section of the first chamber to which air flow is supplied, and passages for supplying fuel to the intermediate chamber that is used for mixing air with fuel and combustion. The third chamber is used for discharging exhaust gases. The swirling members of the swirler are mounted at an angle to the axis of the central burner. The passages for supplying fuel are positioned in the first and third chambers. The ratio of the diameter of the inlet opening to the diameter of the outlet opening is chosen to provide generation of stand waves. The swirling members are made of flat plates whose area increases downstream. The cooling jacket embraces the surfaces of the intermediate and/or intermediate and third chamber. The air flow is heated. The passages for supplying solid fuel in the third chamber are made of a deflecting branch pipe.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and simplified design.
