FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing non-calibrated phase displacement signal into input test signal supplied to verifiable measurement instrument input being certified on amplitude ratio measurement error (as weakening) for producing test signal supplied to measurement input of the verifiable instrument. To reduce error value in determining phase displacement, to expand the range and the number of phase displacements, to increase measurement productivity, changed-amplitude phase displacement is introduced into input test signal applied to anchor input of measurement instrument. Said signal is summed up with the input test signal so that three phase displacement values are set in this way. Amplitude ratios of summed signals and the total one are measured on measurement input of the measurement instrument. True phase displacement values of φ2-3, φ3-1, φ2-1 are calculated from the obtained values using formulas.
EFFECT: reduced error values.
