FIELD: plant growing, in particular, evaluation of effectiveness of combining cultures in mixed binary crops with participation of annual leguminous grasses.
SUBSTANCE: method involves growing leguminous seeds in thermostat in conjunction with seeds of other crops, for example cereals; evaluating extent of suppressing leguminous crop seed germinating power and determining said extent by total percentage of reducing length of sprouts and roots of leguminous crop sprouts as compared with its single-component germination; giving recommendations as to usefulness in utilization of cultures as complementary cultures and seeding norms on the basis of results of evaluating the extent of suppressing seed germinating power.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for obtaining of precise data allowing useful recommendations to be given on utilization of cultures as complementary crops and seeding norms.
