FIELD: chemical industry; methods and the devices for production of the carrier-free strontium-90 and the carrier-free strontium-89.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to production of the radionuclides and may be used for production of the carrier-free strontium-90 and the carrier-free strontium-89. The method of production includes the following: the gaseous medium, which is formed in the active zone of the operating nuclear water-solution reactor and exiting into its compensation chamber, is pumped over through the apparatuses for curing of the gaseous medium. In the apparatuses for the curing of the gaseous medium this gaseous medium is pumped over together with the dissolvent of strontium present in the apparatuses. In the process of the gaseous medium pumping over it is cured within the time "t" till its feeding into the second apparatus. The "t" duration is defined by the formula where: "t"- is the time duration of the gaseous medium curing till its feeding into the second apparatus for the gaseous medium curing, c; - the volumetric activity of krypton-89 before the first apparatus for curing of the gaseous medium, Bq/m3; - the volumetric activity of krypton-90 before the first apparatus for the gaseous medium curing, Bq/m3; θ - the ratio of the specific activity of strontium-90 to the specific activity of strontium-89 in the fully processed product of the carrier-free strontium-89; - the constant value of disintegration of krypton-89,c-1; - the constant value of disintegration of krypton-90, c-1. Store the carrier-free strontium-90 in the dissolvent of strontium, which is present in the first apparatus for the gaseous medium curing. Store the carrier-free strontium-89 in the dissolvent of strontium, which is present in the second apparatus for the gaseous medium curing. Drain the dissolvent of strontium with the stored quantity of the carrier-free strontium-90 and the dissolvent of strontium with the stored quantity of the carrier-free strontium-89 into the system of the fully processed product.
EFFECT: the technical result of the invention is production of the fully processed products in the form of the solution of the carrier-free strontium-90 and the solution of the carrier-free strontium-89.
