FIELD: labels, particularly for wire and cable identifying.
SUBSTANCE: labels are cut from tape roll used in printer. The tape includes label material layer, peelable substrate material layer and adhesive layer applied between label material layer and peelable substrate material layer. Tape comprises at least one fold line and is folded backwards into halves in tape width direction. Tape has the first and the second superposed parts. The first part has printable outer surface. Label tape production method and two variants of label application method are also disclosed.
EFFECT: increased label quality and decreased cost.
