FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to method of image printing on tape of image reception, tape is moved in the first direction so that specified section of tape is after printing area, image is printed by movement of tape in the second direction. Tape is cut, when at least the specified section of tape is after area of cut, and tape is cut again, when end of image is at the specified distance in front of cutting area.
EFFECT: making it possible to print label with background image on tape, length of which complies with label length, thus eliminating blank spaces at label ends.
