SUBSTANCE: proposed electromagnetic selector switch designed for checking insulation resistance of multiconductor items such as bundled conductors has cylindrical stator incorporating plurality of fixed and movable contacts disposed on its inner surface over helical spiral, rotor incorporating make-and-break contact disposed on fork-nut turned onto lead screw, two electromagnets, reversible ratchet gear, and step counter.

EFFECT: enhanced number of contacts, speed, and service life, reduced size.
