FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrical machine refers to multipurpose module-type electrical machines intended for use in different fields of national economy as direct-current generator, single- or multi-phase alternating-current generator, machine of direct or single-phase current, and multi-phase alternating-current motor supplied from frequency generator. Rotor capable of rotation round stator is installed on electrical machine shaft. Magnetic system is positioned over rotor circumference with alternating polarity. Electrical machine includes at least one module made as sectional stator assembled of sections insulated from one another and having windows for laying of multi-turn windings. Rotor of every module has slots for interaction with other modules. Bearing sleeve with slip rings is installed on rotor shaft. Slip rings are connected electrically to detachable closed commutator rings insulated from one another. Commutators have contact plates, and they represent identical commutators of sectional commutator. Closed rings are connected to multi-phase windings, as well as to frequency generator and to automatic tracking and control system.
