FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes wood raw material grinding; treatment thereof with water and additional mechanical and chemical treatment in presence of hydrolyzing agent in ratio: hydrolyzing agent 0.5-10 mass % and balance: wood. As hydrolyzing agent preferably solid alkali such as sodium hydroxide, and sodium carbonate is used. Mechanical and chemical treatment preferably is carried out in ball crushers with acting body acceleration of 60-400 m/s2 and retention time in treatment zone is 10-1 min, respectively.
EFFECT: increased yield of target product; absence of organic solvents.
