FIELD: radio engineering; power amplifier harmonic filters and antenna-matching short-wave radio transmitters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed inductance coil has single-range chord winding disposed on sectional former built of two parallel side panels joined together by means of rectangular-section connecting strips with slots to receive wire. Coil is wound with round-section uninsulated wire and has N parallel-connected windings; first-winding wire is placed in respective slots of connecting strips to form other-than-round turns; wire of each next winding is placed on top of that of preceding winding in same slots of connecting strips and in same sequence as first-winding wire; each turn of each winding has M edges, where M > 4 is number of connecting strips. Newly introduced is additional panel disposed in parallel with side panels and used to join all connecting strips together in center of their length. This inductance coil has two design alternates of its fastening: (a) by means of two diametrically opposite elongated connecting strips disposed in one plane and provided with holes at ends; (b) by means of side panels provided with fastening holes.
EFFECT: reduced size of coil at sufficient surface area for winding wire.
