FIELD: radio engineering; antenna matching devices and radio transmitter tuning assemblies. SUBSTANCE: inductance coil is made in the form of n spiral coils with non-round turns wound as single piece of non-insulated wire on composite former built up of two panels joined together through strips each of whose slots holds turns of one of spiral coils as well as through insulating rods meant to ensure desired turn-to-turn space in spiral coils. Novelty is that odd-numbered spiral coils are wound from inner turn to outer one and even- numbered ones, from outer to inner turns. Coil manufacturing tool is built up of set of gaskets and plates of different size. Plates are rounded off at their corners and their thickness equals coil wire diameter; they are secured together with gaskets on rod. Inductance coil is wound on tool, then rod is removed together with gaskets and plates. After that, spiral coils are compressed each being placed in respective slots of strips; insulating rods are fitted between coil turns and inserted, together with projections of strips, into panel slots and secured therein by means of adhesive.
