FIELD: radio engineering; antenna assemblies for circular-scanning target detection radar units.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for disposing parabolic mirror antennas of circular-scanning target detection radar unit providing for diversifying two opposing radiating surfaces of equal-size parabolic mirror antennas relative to common vertical axis of revolution is characterized in that optical axes of parabolic mirror antennas are diversified in horizontal plane through equal distance relative to their common vertical axis of revolution in which case surfaces of each antenna oncoming during revolution should be convex and those running away, concave.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and reduced power requirement of radar unit in the wind, reduced manufacturing and maintenance cost of antennas.
