FIELD: tubular junctions for cables.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tubular junction for cables has several internal tubes designed for cable laying which are loosely held within shell. Tube shell has outer perimeter meeting that of respective standard round-section tube; it is gas-tight and its internal compression strength is at least 0.5 bars. During installation or in transit shell assumes flat, arc-shaped, or oval-section form. Tube shell transforms on both ends at outlet of inner tubes into round section; tubes are loosely disposed within shell or are placed one on top of other.
EFFECT: enhanced strength and gas- and water-tightness, facilitated maintenance in operation.
