FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming seed furrows with compacted bottom by means of rollers; leveling furrow bottom by means of runner boat shanks of light-weight construction or seeding material guides; additionally compacting bed and sowing seeds thereon; after sowing, spilling loose soil layer removed from lower edge of furrows onto seeds. Apparatus has frame with battery of furrow forming rollers fixed on frame. Seeding material guides are positioned behind rollers. Said guides are made in the form of runner boat shanks of light-weight construction or equipped with curved tubular tips. Seeding material guides are fixed on carrier pivotally connected to frame so that lower edge of shanks are aligned with lower edge of furrows integral profile.
EFFECT: improved quality of sowing works, increased cereal crop yield, reduced consumption of power, decreased grain production costs, and simplified construction.
