FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed railway traction vehicle contains two-axle bogies with traction electric motors with reduction gears secured in two or three points on frames of bogies and on traction vehicle frame by articulated or pendulum-type suspensions. Cross beams of bogies are furnished with pivot devices to transmit tractive force to frame of railway traction vehicle which is furnished with side brackets connected with brackets of axle boxes connected, in their turn, with frames of bogies.

EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of bogies and railway traction vehicle, provision of maximum traction properties, reduced dynamic loads on traction electric motors and frames of bogies, simplified design of bogie frames, mechanisms transmitting tractive forces, and radial setting of wheelset axles, increased level of standardization and reduced wear of wheel tires.
