SUBSTANCE: cast iron contains components used in the following ratio, wt%: carbon 3.5-4.0; silicon 0.8-1.2; manganese 0.8-1.2; chromium 0.3-0.7; barium 0.003-0.005; vanadium 0.2-0.6; molybdenum 0.6-1.0; cobalt 0.4-0.8; iron the balance.
EFFECT: increased thermal resistance of cast iron.
