SPAWNING COMPLEX FOR CRYOPHILIC FISH REPRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E02B8/08 A01K61/00

Abstract RU 2308571 C1

FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly natural fish hatchery structures.

SUBSTANCE: spawning complex comprises feeding unit with supply channel communicated with spawning area and having round outline, discharge channel tangentially adjoining spawning area outline and communicated with precipitation pond. Channels bent in plane view are created at spawning area bottom and are spaced one from another. The channels are directed from central spawning area part to outline thereof. Water-receiving system includes central waterway and radial conduits and is located in spawning area center. Radial conduits are connected with bent channels. Annular channel is located along spawning area outline. Spawning area bottom cross-section defines truncated cone having lesser base with height mark located over that of larger base. Bent channels are independent and have bottoms inclined towards spawning area outline in longitudinal direction. Supply channel of feeding unit is connected with central waterway of water-receiving system. Bent channels are of helix shapes and extend along side surface of truncated cone. Outlet parts of bent channels communicate with annular channel having inner side surface adjoining larger base of truncated cone. Supply channel of feeding unit and water-receiving system are of pressure type. Roughness members and spawning substrate are arranged on bent channel bottoms along lengths thereof. Precipitation pond is made as larva pond. Discharge channel is provided with discharge conduit communicated with river bed.

EFFECT: improved hydraulic conditions for fish spawning.
