SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish industry and can be used for preservation and restoration of sturgeon populations. Biopond is built next to the river and is connected to it by supply and discharge channels. At the bottom of the biopond there is a layer of coarse pebbles, on which, at a distance from each other, two-layer mattresses are mounted, covered from above with coarse pebbles. First layer of mattresses is made of bags filled with sand or gravel, the second layer is made of light fascines from reeds, which are connected to each other to form a nest for laying bags of paper with fertilized sturgeon caviar. Supply channel is made in the form of a bioplateau stream filled with gravel with crushed stone and with planted higher aquatic plants, which are also planted in gaps between mattresses and on slopes of the biopond.

EFFECT: invention provides higher survival rate of sturgeon fish fry.
