INFORMATIONAL SYSTEM ON TAXI VEHICLES Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G09F21/04 

FIELD: advertising, possible use for placement of advertising information on vehicles, preferably passenger taxis.

SUBSTANCE: information system contains a server of dispatching service. On taxi vehicle, information display and client terminal are provided, the latter being reversibly connected via radio-channel to the server, satellite navigation receiver. Server is made with possible transfer of advertising information to client terminal with notification of its broadcasting priority and includes a database service, made with possible modification of advertising information, communication service, automated operator workplace and administration service. A taxi operation area map is recorded into client terminal memory in advance in digital form. Client terminal includes vehicle signaling module, communication module, made with possible setup of connection with dispatching service server, radio navigation module, information processing and controlling module, radio communication antenna, antenna or receiver, built into antenna of external radio navigation system, user identification means, sound signaling means, visual signaling means, terminal for exchanging text information, audio communication terminal, video terminal. Information display is a liquid-crystalline panel, connected to client terminal. The latter is made with possible receipt of data from satellite navigation receiver about geographical coordinates of vehicle and with possible selection with consideration of geographical coordinates of vehicle of advertising information, previously transmitted from dispatching service server, for transfer to liquid-crystalline panel with following transmission of information to the server about place and time of broadcasting of each advertising information recorded in the memory of client terminal.

EFFECT: increased safety of driving due to full automation of transmission, receipt and reproduction of advertising messages.
