FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices of contact system designed for supply of high voltage to dc electric locomotive moving by their own into working zone for servicing with sand and returning under contact system over depot tracks. Device has section of high-voltage contact system. Inserts of contact wire insulated by insulators are found in definite places of contact system. Shunting of two or several insulators by absorption diodes connected in opposition to high voltage permits use of invention for servicing one, two or several types of dc electric locomotive and to increase capacity at their servicing.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
