FIELD: radio communications; broadband radio transmitters compensating for antenna input impedance deviation from value affording optimal mode of operation of radio transmitter power amplifier.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna tuner has matching circuit formed by components of four reactance boxes and switching unit whose first output is connected to matching-circuit input. Current transformer primary winding is connected between attenuator output and second input of switching unit; microcontroller is connected through first-port outputs of parallel interface to respective control inputs of switching unit and matching circuit. Inputs of first and second differential amplifiers are connected to outputs of attenuator and transformer, respectively; first and second analog-to-digital converters are connected through their analog inputs to respective outputs of differential amplifiers. Digital inputs of first and second random-access memory devices are connected to respective digital outputs of analog-to-digital converters and their digital outputs, to second port of microcontroller parallel interface. First output of frequency synthesizer is connected to attenuator input, its second output, to synchronization inputs of analog-to-digital converters, and its control port, to second port of microcontroller series interface, calibration resistor being connected to second output of switching unit.
EFFECT: essentially reduced tuning time.
