System has antenna, first and second band-pass filters, first power amplifier, modulator, frequency synthesizer, intermediate frequency amplifier, mixer and intermediate frequency amplifier connected in series, frequency divider, first and second high-frequency amplifiers, first, second and third attenuators, first, second, third and fourth commutators, first, second, third and fourth amplifiers, first and second filters, frequency divider, former of envelope signal, first and second analog-to- digital converters, digital-to-analog converter, volume control, low-frequency power amplifier, low-frequency filter, directional coupler, preamplifier, second power amplifier, sounding signal filter, processing and control unit, information input/output unit, controller of series interface and two signal processing channels. EFFECT: increased accuracy of detection and identification of objects including elements with nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics, provision for operation of system under continuous and pulse modes. 2 dwg
