FIELD: electric communications, namely, area of cryptographic methods and devices for protection of information being transferred through telecommunication networks.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, a block of digital data is split onto N ≥ 2 n-bit sub-blocks of digital data, then each sub-block of digital data is subjected to controlled operational substitution, which is realized in S serially executed cycles. Each cycle includes simultaneous execution of Z elementary controlled substitutions and following execution of fixed permutation. Controlled operational substitution is executed using previously generated control vector based on digital data sub-block or digital data sub-block and a secret key. Examples of method realization are provided for one-sided cryptographic transformation and for encoding.
EFFECT: increased resistance to differential crypto- analysis, increased speed.
