FIELD: electro-physical devices, namely, charged particle accelerators.

SUBSTANCE: in claimed accelerator, conductor charging is ensured by electronic resonance high frequency linear accelerator, positioned in the hollow of conductor. Electron beam accelerated in electronic resonance high frequency linear accelerator is braked in vacuumized braking tube, which connects the output of electronic resonance high frequency linear accelerator to the base of column being under earth potential. Kinetic energy of electron beam, received by it in electronic resonance high frequency linear accelerator, is spent on acceleration of ion beam in electrostatic field generated by electronic beam during its braking in vacuumized braking tube. The energy, required for acceleration of electronic beam in electronic resonance high frequency linear accelerator, is provided by electric motor situated in the base of column and transferring rotating momentum to the shaft of electric generator, held in conductor by means of dielectric shaft. On aforementioned dielectric shaft, metallic rings are evenly positioned along the length, enveloping it, to each ring electric potential is transferred from high voltage divider, values of which are increased with withdrawal of a ring from column base and approach to conductor. Potential is supplied by means of a contact sliding over a ring, held on metallic shelf and electrically connected to it. On column shelves, equipment is placed for providing impulse electric power to solenoids, situated on vacuumized braking tube for focusing the electron beam.

EFFECT: reduced intensity of ion current.
