FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, brush designed for vacuum cleaner and rotated by means of turbines which are, on their turn, rotated by air drawn into brush.
SUBSTANCE: brush has body with suction channel for passage of air through this channel, said air being drawn by suction force created in vacuum cleaner casing. Cleaning member provided on brush is facing surface so as to remove soil particles from said surface to be cleaned. Along rotating shaft there are positioned at least two spaced apart turbines designed for rotation within suction channel for creating of draft to drive cleaning member and equipped with at least one blade. Width resulted from addition of turbine blade width is less than width of suction channel relative to direction of rotating shaft. Turbines are symmetrically arranged with respect to one another and are interconnected so as to rotate together or independently. Circular inertial member on turbine is designed for imparting additional inertia force to draft of turbine. End part of at least one turbine blade is smaller than remaining part of blade. Turbines which rotate cleaning member do not create obstacles within suction channel of brush body.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of brush due to unobstructed passage of air through suction channel and increased rotational force created by turbines for rotation of cleaning member.
