FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner contains: vacuum cleaner head (10) having a suction hole (36); the head has the first and the second states; a ventilation unit for air flow suction through the suction hole (36) and a control unit intended for the head state control. The control unit includes: user-controlled valve (320) for temporary increase of air pressure inside the air passage passing from the suction hole to the ventilation unit; a charge chamber (176) having an inner volume connected via the liquid medium to the air passage; the charge chamber may move from a stretched configuration into a compressed one in response to pressure differential between the inner volume and environment air; additionally, the charge chamber is designed so that to enable shifting towards the stretched configuration; a control mechanism (214, 238) allowing the charge chamber to move into the compressed configuration in response to the first mode of the valve operation to place the head into the first or the second state and serves for prevention of the charge chamber return into the compressed configuration in response to the second mode of the valve operation to place the head into a state other than the first or the second one.
EFFECT: design improvement.
