FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves draining anterior chamber after having penetrating keratoplastic repair done. Proximal end of draining tube is introduced 3-4 mm deep into the anterior chamber along meridiane from 4 to 6 o'clock marks. The distal end is subconjunctivally positioned. Drugs are subconjunctivally introduced in postoperative period in the distal draining tube end. Keratoplastic repair is repeatedly done, cataract is extracted, intraocular lens is implanted and antiglaucoma operation if needed, when penetrating transplant opacity and lenticular opacity occurs in postoperative period with functional eye conditions retained unchanged.
EFFECT: accelerated suppurative process relief, reduced risk of bacterial infection reactivation; increased vision acuity.
