FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed for used in auxiliary equipment of steam power plants and in pump building. Proposed pneumatic pump has working pump with drive double-acting pneumatic cylinder including piston and two drive chambers. The latter are connected by drive pneumatic lines to spool for alternate connection of each chamber with source of working medium and with output of exhaust working medium. It has two opposite working cylinders with pistons connected by rod with piston of drive pneumatic cylinder and furnished with valve unit. Pneumatic pump includes pump of main engine containing cylinder divided into two similar chambers with two pistons connected by rod and valve unit similar to valve unit of working pump and connected by pneumatic lines through valves to corresponding pneumatic lines of working pump. Spool contains drive chamber with fitted-in drive piston. Pneumatic lines connecting spool with drive pneumatic cylinder of working pump are arranged to control spool changing over direction of travel of drive piston.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of steam power plant, provision of its stable operation at relatively low temperatures and pressure of working medium.
